RYLAN Clark has given a health update on his mum Linda after her emergency surgery - and has hinted at a Gogglebox return.

Back in September it was revealed that Linda, 71, was rushed to hospital for surgery after suffering a "bad fall" on holiday while in Marbella.

Now, three months after the accident, Linda is back to her normal self.

Rylan exclusively told The Sun: “My mum is doing really really well... she's really really great.

"She's stumbling about Lakeside, so she's very much back to normal.”

The mother-son duo have been on celebrity version of Channel 4's Gogglebox since 2019.

Rylan and Linda missed the latest series of the popular show due to what had happened.

When asked if they would make an epic return at Greggs Presents: The Festive Rewind Party, Rylan told us: “I’m sure if Gogglebox comes back, we’ll be back!”

Rylan was forced to cancel his BBC Radio 2 show back in September when the accident happened, explaining that Linda was "not in the best of health".

He could not present the show as he had to stay in Spain with his mum after breaking her arm and leg.

Rylan later explained to followers that she needed surgery.

Shortly after he shared a picture of his mum's hand on Instagram and said: "Mum is out of surgery. All went well. Asked me if she can still have a new driveway…. She’s deffo come round. Thanks for all your lovely messages x."

The pair were then able to travel home on a private jet.

He previously told The Sun: "It was an absolute nightmare.

"She is good, she is recovering. I am round there every day and she is hobbling about.

"Everyone won’t realise mum is 71 because of how she is but her body is 71 and if she falls over she’s broken her arm and her leg

"It would have been cheaper to leave her out there but I thought, I can’t do that.

"My first experience on a private jet was on a medical one, how’s your luck."
