Andre Hugh Sutherland, known by his stage name Popcaan, is a Jamaican DJ, singer and musician from the parish St. Thomas. In 2008, Popcaan joined Vybz Kartel's Gaza Empire. In 2010, he released the international hit "Clarks" with Kartel, a tribute to the famous shoe brand. In 2014, Popcaan signed with Mixpak Records and released his first studio album, Where We Come From. 2016 Popcaan signs with the OVO Sound and Warner Records label of Canadian rapper Drake. Popcaan's international singles include "Only Man She Want", "Everything Nice", "Ova Dweet", "El Chapo" and "Family". Popcaan made his debut in the movie The Intent 2: The Come Up. Popcaan has collaborated with a number of international artists including Drake, Jamie xx, Pusha T, Giggs, Matoma, Wale, Gorillaz and Davido. His second album for Mixpak Records, titled Forever, was released on July 20, 2018
