Graphic liner
Drawing a single sweep of floating liner midway up your eyelid is a striking look.
You’ll see the trend on Instagram a lot this summer, with celebs, influencers and bold festival goers giving it a whirl.
Take things further by adding patterns to your sweeping line.
Mismatched eyeshadow
Applying colourful, mismatched eyeshadow above and below your eyes is a quick way to look festival ready.
Opt for the same blend above both eyes, and set this off by using a different colour scheme beneath.
For example, try a pink on your eyelids and an orange beneath, or go all out and create a rainbow effect.
Abstract shapes
Even bolder still is this year’s trend for drawing abstract shapes (in makeup) on your face.
Essentially, this is your chance to make your face a piece of art - squares, rectangles and lines all welcome.
Use eyeliner, glitter gel or other skin-safe products and see where your creativity takes you.
